By accessing and using Dervity (“the Service”), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Service description
What we provide
- Free browser-based tools for converting and formatting data
- AI-powered tools that send your text to a model provider to produce a result
- AI model comparisons, rankings, and guides
- A waitlist and information for paid products such as Scout, which will have their own terms at launch
Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided “as is” and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
Your responsibilities
Acceptable use
You agree to use our service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others. You will not:
- Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
- Use automated scripts to overload our systems, or to call the AI features in bulk
- Violate any applicable local, state, or international law
Your content
You are responsible for the content you use with our tools, and for having the right to use it. We don't review that content. Browser-based tools never send it to us. AI features send it to a model provider to produce a result, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
Our rights
The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Dervity and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
Rights to your content
You keep all rights to the content you use with our tools and to the results. We don't claim any rights to it and don't store it.
Feedback
Any feedback, comments, or suggestions you provide about our service may be used by us without any obligation to compensate you.
Disclaimers

Our service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Accuracy
While we strive to provide accurate tools, we cannot guarantee that conversions will be 100% accurate in all cases. Users should verify important conversions before use in production environments.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
AI output and model information
AI features can produce results that are wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. Check anything important before you rely on it or publish it.
Model scores, prices, speeds, and recommendations come from third parties and our own analysis, and they change often. They're general information, not professional advice. Confirm pricing and limits with the provider before you commit to a model.
Fair use of AI features
AI features are free and rate limited, so everyone gets a fair share. We may lower limits, pause a feature, or block traffic that looks automated or abusive.
Limitation of liability
In no event shall Dervity, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Any loss of profits, revenues, data, or use
- Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service
- Any damages relating to any third-party content or services
Our total liability to you for any damages shall not exceed the amount you paid for using our service (which is $0 for our free tools).
