Paste a CSV or drop a file and get a health report: duplicate rows, blank rows, stray spaces, mixed casing, short rows and invalid emails. Switch on the fixes you want, check the preview, and download a clean .csv. It runs in your browser.
Free CSV cleaner that runs in the browser. Shows a health report for a CSV file (duplicate rows, blank rows, stray whitespace, inconsistent casing, rows with the wrong column count, invalid-looking emails and empty columns), lets you toggle each fix, dedupe by chosen key columns, preview the result with changed cells highlighted, and download the cleaned CSV.
Check the report, switch on the fixes you want, then download.

Seven problems that break imports, lookups and pivot tables. Each one gets a count in the report and its own switch, so nothing changes until you say so.
Removed, keeping the first copy. Match on every column or only the ones you pick, like Email.
Removed, including rows that hold nothing but delimiters.
Leading, trailing, doubled and non-breaking spaces are trimmed in every cell.
Toronto, toronto and TORONTO in one column become the most common spelling.
Short rows are padded so they line up. Long rows are listed so you can check them.
Found in any column named email or mostly made of addresses. Remove those rows or lowercase the rest.
Columns with no values in any row can be dropped.
The delimiter is detected, and the health report fills in as soon as the data loads.
Pick key columns for duplicates if a whole-row match is too strict. The counts update as you go.
Changed cells are highlighted in the table. The file downloads with -clean added to its name.
Paste the CSV or drop the file into the cleaner. A health report lists duplicate rows, blank rows, stray spaces, mixed casing, rows with the wrong number of columns, invalid-looking emails and empty columns. Switch on the fixes you want, check the table preview, then download the cleaned .csv. Everything runs in your browser.
Leave Remove on next to duplicate rows. By default two rows count as duplicates when every column matches, ignoring extra spaces. Pick one or more columns under Match on, such as Email, to dedupe by those columns only, and turn on Ignore case to treat Maya@ and maya@ as the same. The first copy of each row is kept.
Both fixes are on by default. Blank rows, including rows that only contain delimiters like ,,, are removed. Trim strips spaces at the start and end of every cell, collapses doubled spaces and turns non-breaking spaces into normal ones. The header row is trimmed too, so column names match what other tools expect.
It means the same value is spelled with different capitals in one column, like Toronto, toronto and TORONTO. Spreadsheets and pivot tables treat those as three different cities. Unify rewrites each group to its most common spelling, and on a tie it prefers the capitalized form. Email columns are skipped here and have their own lowercase fix.
Partly. Rows with too few cells are padded with empty cells so every row lines up with the header, and empty extra cells at the end of long rows are dropped. Long rows with real data in the extra cells are kept as they are, and the report lists their row numbers so you can check them by hand.
No. The file is read and cleaned in your browser, so customer lists and exports never leave your device, and there's no signup. Files up to 10 MB work. The download is a new file named after the original with -clean added, and it keeps your delimiter and quotes any value that needs it.
